ろくろ成形。粘土の塊に指を入れながら成形していく。途中で口の大きさや鉢の高さなどを道具で測りながら形を整える。

その後、デザインにより模様の印を押したり装飾を貼り付ける。

Wheel molding. Insert fingers into the cut clay lump while shaping it. Along the way, the size of the rim and the height of the BONSAI pot are measured with original tools to adjusted the shape. After that, depending on the design, stamp the pattern and paste the decoration.

【5 minutes】

たたら作り。粘土を適当な大きさにし、板状の粘土を用意する。石膏型に粘土をかぶせ、粘土が薄くなりそうなところに粘土を足しながら厚さを調整し、角がきれいに出るように何度も粘土を型に押し付けながら形を整える。

その後、デザインにより模様のハンコを押したり装飾を貼り付ける。

Slab-building. Roll out the appropriate amount of clay into a slab. Cover the plaster mold with clay, adjust the thickness by adding clay to the place where the clay is thin, and adjust the shape by pressing the clay against the mold many times so that the corners come out neatly. After that, depending on the design, stamp the pattern and paste the decoration.

乾燥の日数は天候や気温にをみて調整する。

The number of drying days is adjusted depending on the weather and temperature.

【1-3 Days】

ろくろを回しながら鉢の外側を削り、形を整える。高台も削り出す（強度を出すために高台は貼り付けるのではなく削り出しています）。

Trim the outside of the BONSAI pot while turning the potter's wheel. Trim the foot rather than pasting it to make the foot strong.

【10 minutes】

鉢を手で持ちながら外側も内側も削り、形を整える。厚みが半分以下になるほど、ひたすら削る。

高台も削り出す（強度を出すために高台は貼り付けるのではなく削り出しています）。

Hold the BONSAI pot in your hands and trim the outside and inside of it. The thickness becomes less than half of the original. Trim the foot rather than pasting it to make the foot strong.

【60 minutes】

室内で１～２日、その後　屋外で２～３日

1~2 days indoors, then 2~3 days outdoors

【3~5 days】

800度くらいの温度で焼く。

Fire at a temperature of about 800 degrees Celsius.

【1 day】

約１２００～１３００度の高温で焼く。製品と一緒に窯の中に入れておいたテストピースを窯に開けた小さな穴から取り出して何度も焼き具合を確認しながら時間調整する。

【ガス：１５～１８時間、薪：３～４日】

火を止めてからは窯の中で徐々に温度が下がるまで待つ。

【１日】

Fire at a high temperature of about 1200~1300 degrees. The test piece placed in the kiln with the products is taken out through a small hole of the kiln many times to check the best timing.

【gas: 15~18 hours, firewood: 3~4 days】

After turning off the heat, wait until the temperature gradually drops in the kiln.

【1 day】

窯から鉢を取り出し、割れや欠け、ぐらつきなどを１つ１つ確認する。

Take out the BONSAI pots from the kiln and check them for cracks, chips, and wobbles one by one.
