光と影を楽しむ「SOLAR GOLD」。名古屋にいる者としてキラキラは外せない。名古屋城本丸御殿にある障壁画をイメージメして作った盆栽鉢です。
キラッキラに目立つというよりは薄暗い場所で静かに放たれる、深くどっしりとしたギラッ。

このSOLAR　GOLD、「渋く光る作品が欲しい」というところからスタートし釉薬も独自に調合したものですが、形にするまでは大変でした。
使用している釉薬は他の釉薬に比べ窯の中で流れやすいので、油断するとすぐデローンと垂れます。
かといって温度を変えるとNOキラキラ。
失敗を繰り返しながら、やっと手に入れた「ギラッ」をお愉しみください。


☆「貼花文」と呼ばれる立体的な模様は、江戸時代に愛知県瀬戸市で広まった「呂宋」と呼ばれる焼き物の特徴の１つです。「呂宋」は当時とても人気の焼き物で、喜多川歌麿の浮世絵にも描かれています。

※1点1点手作業で作った作品ですので、鉢のサイズや釉薬のかかり具合など均一ではありません。多少の歪みがある場合もございます。ご理解の上、ご検討ください。


"SOLAR GOLD" BONSAI Pot to enjoy light and shadow. As the one living in Nagoya, I can't go without ‘sparkly stuff’. It is a bonsai pot made with the image of the wall painting, calmly shining in the dark at Nagoya Castle.

Before reaching to the current texture, we had to go through a lot of tests.
The glaze of this BONSAI Pot is also our original and it flows easily in a kiln.
If we set the temperature lower, however, we get NO shining color.

☆ The pattern called "CHO KA MON" is one of the characteristics of the pottery called "RUSU", which was widespread in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture during the Edo period. "RUSU" was a very popular pottery at the time, and it is also depicted in the ukiyo-e prints of Kitagawa Utamaro.
