心が躍る「SORAIRO」。大好きな海をイメージしました。もちろん「貼花文」も波。ちょっとHAPPYになれる盆栽鉢。
釉薬はマット調のトルコブルーを使っており、落ち着いた高級感を演出しています。

しかしこの釉薬、ほんと大変なんです。
釉薬をつけるときに指で挟んで持つと焼きあがったときに指のあとが色の濃淡になって、ちょっと「体調が悪い」（湿疹？みたいな）見た目になります。しかも目立つ。
対策として上と下から挟み込む道具を作って釉薬に触れないようにドキドキしながら作っています。
苦労しながら焼きあげたSORAIROは白との相性が抜群です。白色の窓枠、テーブルなどに置いてみてください。


☆「貼花文」と呼ばれる立体的な模様は、江戸時代に愛知県瀬戸市で広まった「呂宋」と呼ばれる焼き物の特徴の１つです。「呂宋」は当時とても人気の焼き物で、喜多川歌麿の浮世絵にも描かれています。

Of course, ‘CHO KA MON’ is wave shape.
The glaze used is matte turquoise blue, which creates a calm and luxurious feeling.

HOWEVER, this glaze is really difficult to handle. If you hold a pot between your fingers when applying the glaze, you will see your finger prints after firing. The pot looks like sick (suffering from eczema?)
To avid this tragedy, we make a tool and take the utmost care not to touch the glaze (Insanely nervous).
SORAIRO goes well with white. Please try placing it on a white window sill, table, etc.


☆ The pattern called "CHO KA MON" is one of the characteristics of the pottery called "RUSU", which was widespread in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture during the Edo period. "RUSU" was a very popular pottery at the time, and it is also depicted in the ukiyo-e prints of Kitagawa Utamaro.
